THE CONCEPT
Part of the Kakusha 2026 Collection, the Hashi (端) asymmetrical Obi belt—Hashi being a Japanese word meaning edge or extremity—reinterprets the traditional waist sash through a contemporary and avant-garde vision. Designed to define and style the silhouette while maintaining comfort and freedom of movement, it functions both as an accessory and as an element capable of transforming the figure.
Its elongated and asymmetrical shape naturally wraps around the waist, creating dynamic lines and a distinctive visual balance. Inspired by triangular geometry, the design develops through contrasting widths which, once worn, overlap each other, generating depth, movement, and asymmetry.
Made from an exclusive blend of linen and organic cotton fabric, it combines structure, breathability, and everyday comfort. A versatile accessory capable of transforming essential garments into complete looks, adding a functional and expressive dimension.

DESIGN AND FEATURES
✦ Soft and natural asymmetrical Obi construction: Inspired by triangular geometry, it creates a dynamic silhouette through overlapping proportions. No reinforcements, interlinings, or internal supports. It is made solely from fabric folded over itself, preserving a natural adaptation to the body and great comfort.
✦ Wrap-around adjustment system: Two integrated straps, one at each end and made from the same fabric, allow the belt to be adapted to different waist sizes. One of them passes through a reinforced eyelet, creating a secure and adjustable closure system.
✦ Overlapping asymmetry: The wider section remains on the inside while the narrower section overlaps externally, creating a sculptural and asymmetrical effect.
✦ Functional pocket: A small YKK zippered pocket integrated into the narrower front section offers practical space for small essentials, preserving the minimalist aesthetic of the design.
✦ Versatile accessory: Designed to be worn over tunics, shirts, dresses, kimonos, or light outerwear, redefining proportions and silhouette.
FABRIC AND ORIGIN
Premium blend of European Flax Linen and BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) Organic Cotton.
GOTS, ECOCERT Organic Blended Standard, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and Global Recycled Standard certified, guaranteeing the highest sustainability standards throughout the production chain, from fiber to finished garment.
Free from harmful substances and produced with reduced environmental impact.
Composition: 50% Linen · 48% Organic Cotton · 2% Elastane
Lightweight, breathable, and fluid against the skin, ideal for warm climates and all-day wear.
NOTE: In its original state, the fabric has a slightly firmer feel. It begins to soften from the very first wash.
GARMENT CARE
Hand wash or machine wash max. 30°C · Suitable for dry cleaning · Do not tumble dry · Iron at medium-high temperature, preferably with steam.
