THE CONCEPT

The Hane (羽 — wing, feather in Japanese) Short Kimono is part of the Kakusha Linen 2026 Collection.

It is the sleeveless reinterpretation of our iconic Yoroi, reconstructed in a premium blend of European Flax linen and organic cotton for warmer days.

It maintains the same short bolero silhouette, the same wrap construction, and the same architectural presence, stripped of sleeves and weight, retaining only the essentials.

Closed with a rectangular metal buckle through which the fabric strap passes to secure the kimono, and two internal ties that fix the inner panel in place.

Designed for those seeking a light layer with sculptural presence who understand that armor is not always made of steel, but of form, lightness, and presence.

Made in a limited edition in our Barcelona atelier. Ethical and responsible production. Available in two sizes.

DESIGN AND FEATURES

✦ Short bolero silhouette: Same construction as the Yoroi, short and structural, designed to redefine the upper body with architectural precision.

✦ Wrap closure: The kimono wraps around and crosses the body, secured by two internal ties on the inner panel and a rectangular metal buckle through which the fabric strap passes for a precise and adjustable fit.

✦ Sleeveless construction: Open shoulders and deep side armhole openings that reveal the side, framing the silhouette with a clean and radical presence and adding an unexpected sensory detail. Maximum freedom of movement.

✦ Ideal for layering: Worn over the Rei Sleeveless T-Shirt or any base garment from the Kakusha 2026 Collection.

FABRIC AND ORIGIN

Premium blend of European Flax linen and BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) organic cotton.

GOTS, ECOCERT Organic Blended Standard, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and Global Recycled Standard certified, guaranteeing the highest sustainability standards throughout the production chain, from fiber to finished garment. Free of harmful substances and produced with reduced environmental impact.

Composition: 50% Linen · 48% Organic Cotton · 2% Elastane

Lightweight, breathable, and fluid on the skin, ideal for warm climates and all-day wear.

NOTE: In its original state, the fabric has a slightly firmer feel. It begins to soften from the first wash.

GARMENT CARE

Hand wash or machine wash max 30°C recommended · Do not tumble dry · Iron at medium temperature, preferably with steam and inside out · Suitable for dry cleaning.
